Losing Sight
(Written to the brief of not using the Sense of Sight)
she peeped inside
she never saw me
people were talking
i couldn't even hear them anymore
her fragrance became the air
it became my breath
no one even noticed
something took me over
even i didn't notice
she walked away
as if nothing happened
that,
was day zero.
day three thousand!
i entered slowly
she didn't see me
she was on the phone
i didn't hear her
i heard her fingers
talk to her long hair
she pulled them over her shoulder
i stood
she kept the phone
she stood
once again, no one noticed
as we slowly took
the breath of our lives
and
memories rolled by
over our cheeks
smooth no more...
she peeped inside
she never saw me
people were talking
i couldn't even hear them anymore
her fragrance became the air
it became my breath
no one even noticed
something took me over
even i didn't notice
she walked away
as if nothing happened
that,
was day zero.
day three thousand!
i entered slowly
she didn't see me
she was on the phone
i didn't hear her
i heard her fingers
talk to her long hair
she pulled them over her shoulder
i stood
she kept the phone
she stood
once again, no one noticed
as we slowly took
the breath of our lives
and
memories rolled by
over our cheeks
smooth no more...
